The chairman of the Institute's Emergency Situations Commission, professor Mushfiq Atakishiyev, who opened the event with his welcome speech, spoke about the importance of civil defense, possible emergency situations, the duties of the commission members in the field of emergency prevention, the importance of constantly improving knowledge in this direction, and the activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in this field.
The head of the Civil Defense Staff of the Institute, Shovgi Khalilov, made an informative speech about possible emergencies and civil defense measures, functional duties of the civil defense forces. He noted the role and importance of the civil defense system of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the works related to the formation of safe society conditions in our country.
