On May 16, 2023, held an event at the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education regarding the results of the internship organized for the graduate students of Baku Business University (BBU). At the event participated the executive director of the Institute of Economics, professor Mushfiq Atakishiyev, deputy director for special projects, associate professor Allahyar Muradov, Gafar Bagirov, director of BBU's career and graduate work center, trained economists and masters
Prof. M. Atakishiyev highly appreciated the practical training as a good example of useful cooperation between science and educational institutions and wished success to the masters who actively participated in the training. Masters spoke about the importance of the training for their future careers, expressed their gratitude to the organizers and everyone who involved in this work.
Then BBU graduate students who participated in trainings and showed high results were awarded with certificates of the Institute of Economics. Certificates presented by prof. Mushfiq Atakishiyev, assoc.prof., Allahyar Muradov, Gafar Bagirov, D.Sc. Rasmiyya Abdullayeva and assoc.prof., Yunus Sadigov.
It should be noted that 10 second-year graduate students of BBU participated in the trainings held by the scientists of the Institute of Economics for a period of 1 month - from April 10 to May 10, 2023. A cooperation agreement was signed between the Institute of Economics and Baku Business University (BBU) for conducting the courses. In order to organize the internship-training course at a high level, associate professor Tariyel Gurbanov was appointed the head of the scientific research experience for the graduate students.
According to the contract, BBU has paid funds to the Institute of Economics for paid training courses. This is an interesting and noteworthy experience in Azerbaijan as a training organized for students and graduates by specialty between a private university and a scientific institute on the condition that the fee is paid. Scientific research trainings and practical exercises were organized for them. The graduate students of the university had the opportunity to get acquainted with the scientific and research works conducted at the Institute of Economics. The Institute of Economics, which has conducted research on international rankings in recent years, published books, and is represented as an expert in relevant government institutions, has professional scientific experience in this field (economics.com.az).
