On March 17, 2023, held a meeting with a group of scientists from the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education at Shirvan State College of Economics and Humanities in the city of Shirvan
Before the event, the employees of the college and the institute visited the Alley of Martyrs in Shirvan, commemorated the dear memory of our martyrs with deep respect and laid flowers on their graves.
Deputy director of the Institute of Economics for special projects, Ph.D. in economics, associate professor Allahyar Muradov, department heads – DSc., associate prof., Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor Parviz Hasanov and Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor Mahir Zeynalov participated in the meeting organized with the teacher-student staff of the college.
The director of the State College of Economics and Humanities, Doctor of Philology Barkhudar Barkhudarov opened the event with his speech, greeted the guests and noted that the organization of such a meeting is very useful for the teacher-student staff, and noted the importance of cooperation between educational institutions and scientific research institutes in the regions.
At the event, which was moderated by the teacher of the college, Elchin Malikov, economists spoke and answered many questions of the students about the main features of the modern development of the economy of Azerbaijan, the main development trends and future prospects. In particular, held interesting discussions around issues such as the formation of an innovative economy in our country, the provision of employment, the main professions and qualifications of the future and the role of education in this process, free entrepreneurial activity and business environment, the improvement of social welfare, the progress of the regions, the development of non-oil sector, and the construction of a new economy in Karabakh.
In the end, the economists of the Ministry of Science and Education were awarded with the "Decree of Honor" by the Shirvan State College of Economics and Humanitarian for their special services in the scientific knowledge of young people (economics.com.az).
