The book is dedicated to the first anniversary of the Great Victory in the Karabakh war and the 60th anniversary of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. The presented monograph is written on the basis of the basic principles of compiling an analytical review. It outlines the precepts of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the rating of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, his personality and style of leadership of the country are assessed by well-known statesmen, political scientists, scientists, military experts, honored journalists and citizens of the republic.
Based on a conceptual approach and analysis of actual statistical data and media reports, the progress achieved in the economy, the rating of Azerbaijan according to the results of the assessment of international organizations, the facts of the end of conflicts between Azerbaijan and Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh, which reveal the amount of destruction and damage caused as a result of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan, are indicated , the amount and structure of the damage, information is given about the death of people, the destruction of cultural heritage, environmental terror, winning a brilliant victory in the 44-day war. In addition, the monograph systematizes the availability of minerals, raw materials, energy and water resources, tourism opportunities in the Karabakh and East Zangezur territories, describes the main directions of economic development of these regions, paying special attention to the work done over the past year after the victory, gives recommendations on sustainable and inclusive development of the economy, and also substantiates the feasibility of organizing new agricultural parks, joint ventures, industrial service districts, clusters, technology parks and other innovative infrastructures and business facilities in the specified economic territory.
