Director General of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) visited Qatar to participate in the "Doha Forum 2022" held in Qatar on March 26-27, 2022
The forum was attended by high-ranking government officials, business representatives and scientists from more than 60 countries. The event was also attended by representatives from Azerbaijan, including Deputy of Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fariz Rzayev, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations Farid Shafiyev.
The forum was opened by the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamin bin Hamad Al Thani.
Joining the event online, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave information about ongoing war in his country to the world community.
Speaking at the forum, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoghlu spoke about the Russia-Ukraine crisis and the possibilities for its solution.
It should be noted that 22 years after its establishment, the 20th Doha Forum discussed the "Transformation for a new era." Discussions cover 4 main areas: geopolitical alliances and international relations; financial system and economic development; defense, cyber and food security; climate change and sustainability.
The Doha Forum is attended by more than 200 international media outlets, including high-level media partners and journalists (economics.com.az).
