On December 10, 2021, an international scientific conference on "Sustainable Development Strategy: Global Trends, National Experiences and New Goals" held at the Mingachevir State University (MSU) with the support of the Ministries of Education and Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Mingachevir City Executive Power
Heard scientific reports at the online event. Corresponding member of ANAS of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Professor Akif Musayev made a speech at the plenary session of the meeting of the section "Restoration of the liberated territories: current situation and effective settlement", in the section of "Economic sciences and management" Leading researchers of the institute – Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof. Kamran Abdullayev made a speech on "Assessment of the role of the Zangazur corridor in the creation of a new regional transit line" and Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof. Tariyel Gurbanov made a report on "Cyclical features of sustainable development of the national economy." There also carried out broad discussions and were answered many questions.
It should be noted that the international scientific conference, held for the first time in the history of MSU, was of great interest to both local and foreign higher education and scientific community, 462 theses and articles from 37 local higher education and research institutions, as well as entered 35 universities in 14 foreign countries (economics.com.az).
