On June 17, 2021, online with the "Zoom" program held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS. A number of issues were discussed at the online event, which was chaired by the director of the institute, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov)
At the meeting, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute of Economics, Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor Allahyar Muradov gave detailed information on the progress of planned scientific research in 2021, the submission of semi-annual reports, the main tasks of scientific departments in this field. He said that government agencies are closely interested in research conducted at the institute, and has been established close cooperation with them in this area. In recent years, carried out research works at the institute are highly appreciated. Based on the research, several books have already been published, and more about 15 studies are planned to be published in book format.
At the Scientific Council also discussed issues related to the preparation of examination rules, the establishment of examination commissions, and the rules of examinations.
By the decision of the Scientific Council, the book "Index of economic development and diversification of the regions of Azerbaijan" authored by Professor Nazim Muzaffarli and associate professor Allahyar Muradov (reviewers associate professor R.Abdullayeva and associate professor L.Allahverdiyeva) recommended for publication.
At the meeting also discussed the issues related to the awarding of employees, funding of the institute, research projects and protocols of the decisions of the Scientific Council.
In the end, by secret ballot, the head of the "Globalization and International Economic Relations" department, Doctor of Economics, Fuad Ganbarov was decided to give the title of professor (economics.com.az).
