Held an online meeting of the labor market working group

  On April 6, 2021, head of the department “Socio-economic problems of living standards” of the Institute of Economics of ANAS, Ph.D. in Economics, assoc., prof., Rasmiyya Abdullayeva participated in the online meeting of the Labor Market Working Group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings of the Republic of Azerbaijan
  The meeting was opened by the head of the working group, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anar Karimov, who informed about the agenda. At the meeting discussed the report of the Labor Market Working Group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings on the action plan for 2020 for the 4th quarter. The meeting also discussed the ITUC Global Rights Index report on the rights of workers, which is a criterion 8.06 of the Global Competitiveness Report in the action plan of the "Labor Market Working Group" for 2021, the possibility of including Azerbaijan in the same ranking, adaptation of the vocational education system to the requirements of the developing economy and the employer in order to train competitive personnel in the labor market, development of inclusive employment, improvement of legislation in the field of corporate governance in accordance with international practice, the competitiveness of labor in the labor market.
