Held an online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics

  On February 12, 2021, held an online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS with the "Zoom" program. A number of issues were discussed at the online event chaired by the director of the Institute, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov)
  Prof. N.Muzaffarli informed the members of the Scientific Council about the decisions made on the improvement of the structure and optimization of the management, also taken measures at ANAS.
  Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute of Economics, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Allahyar Muradov on the base of the decision of the Presidium of ANAS, gave detailed information on the plans of scientific research work to be carried out at ANAS during 2021-2025s, planning of scientific research work at the Institute of Economics in 2021 the main responsibilities of scientific departments.
  Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council under the Institute of Economics of ANAS Sevda Seyidova spoke about the meeting of the Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission Famil Mustafayev with the chairmen and Scientific Secretaries of the Scientific Councils under ANAS, including the new defense rules adapted to pandemic conditions. The meeting also discussed and approved the “Rules for Preliminary Discussions” in scientific departments.
  Based on the presentation of the director by the decision of the Scientific Council the corresponding member of ANAS, Doctor of Economics, prof. Akif Musayev was appointed head of the Post-Conflict Territorial Rehabilitation Scientific Center, associate professor Ravana Davudova was appointed head of department “Mathematical Support of Economic Researches” of the Institute and associate professor Sabina Shikhaliyeva was appointed head of the International Relations Department.
  At the meeting, the collective monograph “Directions for further improvement of Azerbaijan's position on the development of service sectors in international rankings” by the department “Development problems of service sectors” (scientific editor Doctor of Economics, prof. M.C.Atakishiyev; reviewers Doctor of Economics, prof. Q.S. Suleymanov and Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., A.Allahverdiyeva) was recommended for publication (economics.com.az).
