On January 11, 2019, held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics, ANAS. A number of issues were discussed at the meeting which chaired by the Director of the Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov)
At the meeting, discussed the topic of the research work, which will be held in the Institute of Economics, ANAS for the next 3 years, "Broadening the directions of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Azerbaijan and further improvement of its positions in the international rankings (2019-2021)". After the discussions, the topic has approved as the main research direction for the next three years.
Prof. Tofig Huseynov's report on "Changing the rules of preliminary (departmental) discussions of dissertations" heard and the proposed amendments widely discussed at the meeting.
Head of International Relations Department of the Institute, Associate Professor, Rufat Efendiyev gave extensive information about "Investments for Education in the United Vienna Institute: Opportunities for Employees of the Institute of Economics, ANAS" (economics.com.az).
