On October 18, 2018, at the 60th jubilee event of the Institute of Economics, ANAS were announced winners of scientific articles contest sponsored by NBCBank and by Nicos Cosmetics Company, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Economics, young economists awarded with diplomas and cash prizes
First, head of department of the Institute of Economics, ANAS, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Fuad Ganbarov gave information about the competition. Director General of NBC Bank Gasim Aliyev and representative of "Nicos" cosmetics company attended the event. 
According to the decision of the jury, the first place was taken by the employee of the Institute of Economics, ANAS, Ph.D. in Economics, Leyli Allahverdiyeva, the 2nd place were taken by a teacher of Khazar University, 
Shahriyar Mukhtarov, and a teacher of Azerbaijan State Economic University, Shahin Akbarov, a teacher of Azerbaijan State Economic University. Scientific workers of the Institute of Economics, ANAS, Jeyhun Huseynov, 
Mirvari Gazanfarli and Shahzade Madatova from the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industrial University took the 3rd place.
The winners were awarded with diplomas and cash prizes. Academician Ibrahim Guliyev, academician Dilgam Tagiyev and academician Nargiz Akhundova awarded the winners with diplomas. The winner of the first place won 1500 AZN, each of the winners for the 2nd place won 1000 AZN and the 3rd place won 500 AZN.
It should be noted that as part of the 60th anniversary event of the Institute of Economics, ANAS the competition was held in order to stimulate the scientific activity of young economists working at various scientific-research institutions and universities of the country (economics.com.az).
