On February 27, 2018, has carried out the following scientific seminar at the Institute of Economics ANAS
Under the chairmanship of professor Tarbiz Aliyev at the seminar were discussed the dissertation works of two candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. Scientific Counsellor of the Scientific Seminar Ph.D. in Economics Sevda Seyidova gave information about them.
First, Mazanova Ofelya Idris, the dissertant of the Institute of Economics ANAS, gave information about her thesis on the topic "Improving the mechanism of using innovation technologies in the education system" (scientific supervisor, Arzu Huseynova). She spoke about the relevance of the work, the level of learning of the problem, the goals and objectives of the research, the main scientific innovations, the main content of the study, including the results and suggestions. 
Appointed reviewers – Doctor of Economics, prof. Ramiz Iskandarov, Ph.D. in Economics, Isa Musayev and Ph.D. in Economics, Farhad Mikayilov not only noted the relevance of the issue, but also expressed their remarks and proposals. The dissertant O.Mazanova answered the questions by the seminar's participants and answered the comments of the reviewers.
In the second part of the seminar under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman of the Seminar, Ph.D. in Economics, Assoc. prof., Allahyar Muradov, the dissertant of Sumgayit State University, Ali Bilal Nizamaddin, gave a presentation on the main content of the dissertation work on "The mechanism of effective organization of innovation activity in the industry of Azerbaijan (as a part of Azersu OJSC)" (on the specialty "Sectoral economics") (scientific supervisor, professor Gazanfar Suleymanov). He highlighted the relevance, content, key scientific innovations, results and proposals of his research work.
Then the reviewers on the case - prof. Ramiz Iskandarov and Ph.D. in Economics, Asif Mustafayev reasoned his remarks and proposals. The other members of the seminar also emphasized the relevance of the issue and noted their comments and suggestions. The dissertant B.Aliyev answered the questions and said that in the future he would consider all these remarks at his work. Finally, the dissertation work was recommended to the next stage of discussion with the requirement that with open debates and comments be amended, adjusted and agreed with the reviewers (economics.com.az).
