Arzu Huseyn: "In the economic science of Azerbaijan is growing a new innovator youths"
Head of the Department of “Education” of the Institute of Economics, ANAS, Ph.D. in Economics, Arzu Huseyn gave an Interview to the website economics.com.az
- Mrs. Arzu, the time of receiving documents for a doctorate and Ph.D. degrees is over. How many people have applied for the relevant places allocated for the Institute of Economics?
- The deadline for submission of documents was January 26, 2018. Our Institute has received a document for total of 23 positions, including for visual doctorate on Ph.D. scientific degree 8, doctoral dissertation for the preparation of Ph.D. degree 10, the candidates on preparation of doctor of sciences 5 people appealed. During a month were issued 43 documents. Thus, for the preparation of 8 Doctor of Philosophy on visual doctorate applied 19 candidates, to the dissertation degree submitted 14 people for 10 places and 10 candidates for the preparation of 5 doctors of sciences.

- To note, if we consider that 43 people are fighting for 23 places, 2 people fall to one place. However, if we analyze each specialty separately, we see that in the specialty "General economics" there are 7 students in 2 places, issued a document 4 students on 2 places on the specialty "Internal fiscal policy and finance". In general, in other specialties 3-4 people will compete for one place (economics.com.az).
