On January 16, 2018, has carried out the following scientific seminar at the Institute of Economics, ANAS
Under the chairmanship of professor Tarbiz Aliyev has carried out the following scientific discussion of the theses by two candidates on the scientific degree Doctor of Philosophy in Economics Scientific Counsellor of the Scientific Seminar Ph.D. in Economics Sevda Seyidova gave information about them.
Firstly, Bahruz Natig Akhmedov Ph.D. student of the Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms of the Ministry of Economy of AR, gave information about the dissertation on the subject “The evaluation of macro stability in the economy of Azerbaijan” (scientific advisor, Prof. Nazim Muzaffarli). He spoke about the relevance of the work, the level of learning of the problem, the goals and objectives of the research, the main scientific innovations, the main content of the study, and the results and suggestions.
Appointment of reviewers – Doctor of Economics, prof. Mubariz Baghirov and Ph.D. in Economics, Asif Mustafayev, in their remarks, highlighted the relevance of the issue and also made comments and proposals. The plaintiff B.Ahmadov gave detailed answers to the questions of the seminar members, as well as to the respondents' comments. 
Then Yahya Sanan Hajiagha Ph.D. student of the Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms of the Ministry of Economy of AR, gave information about the dissertation on the subject “The evaluation of macro stability in the economy of Azerbaijan” (scientific advisor, Doctor of Economics Fuad Ganbarov, Ph.D. in Economics, Samira Abbasova). He also spoke about the relevance of the work, the level of learning of the problem, the goals and objectives of the research, the main scientific innovations, the main content of the study, and the results and suggestions. 
Reviewers – Doctor of Economics, Mahish Ahmadov and Ph.D. in Economics, Asif Mustafayev gave a note about the urgency of the work and noted that the dissertation work has carried out in the level of according requirements, but beside these they added their considerations and thoughts. Y.Hajiagha answered to the questions, which addressed them by the members of the seminar. But at the meeting decided to change the name of thesis to “Improving the mechanism of state regulation of marketing activity in Azerbaijan”. At the end, with taking into account the serious problems and with an open vote the members of scientific seminar recommended the dissertation work to the next defense stage (economics.com.az).
