On November 01, 2016, has carried out the following scientific seminar at the Institute of Economics ANAS
Under the chairmanship of professor Irshad Kerimli has carried out the following scientific discussion of the thesis by Matanat Ali Abdalova on the scientific degree Doctor of Philosophy in Economics (on the specialty of “Organization of industry and the state policy” and “Sectoral Economy”) on the theme of “Innovative development of industry in Sumgait city and improvement direction of structure” (Scientific adviser – Professor Rena Sultanova) and Scientific Counsellor of the Scientific Seminar Ph.D. in Economics Sevda Seyidova gave information about her.
Then pretendant Matanat Ali Abdalova gave widely information about the content of thesis. She based the urgency of dissertation work, investigation level of the problem, its purposes and duties, also noted the main scientific innovation of the thesis and spoke about the conclusion and recommendations with substantiating the theoretical and practical importance of dissertation work. 
Reviewers – Doctor of Economics, professor Amil Maharramov and Ph.D. in Economics, Kamran Abdullayev gave a note about the urgency of the work and noted that the dissertation work has carried out in the level of according requirements, but beside these they added their considerations and thoughts. M.Abdalova answered to the questions, which addressed her by the members of the seminar. At the end, with an open vote the members of scientific seminar recommended the dissertation work to the next defense stage (economics.com.az).
