Representatives of the Institute of Economics ANAS attended the forum dedicated to the choice of Ganja as the "European Youth Capital”.
An international forum dedicated to the choice of the city of Ganja, as the "European Capital of Youth" in 2016. The event, under the name of "Integration processes of the world’s science of 21th century", realized with joint organization of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Executive Power of 
Ganja city, took place from 10 to 14 October, 2016, in the city of Ganja. 25 scientists and specialists from 14 foreign countries and 150 local young scientists and specialists were invited to the event. Among them was a senior scientific worker of the Institute of Economics, ANAS, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Rufat Efendiyev. He made a presentation on the theme "Gender and employment problems in the central and western regions of Asia" (economics.com.az).
