Professor Ali Abbasov made a report at the Discussion Club of "Creative Economy"
On May 3, 2016, at the Institute of Economics ANAS, at the Discussion Club "Creative Economy” was held the following meeting. The event was attended by representatives of the Institute of Philosophy. Director of the Institute, Professor, Nazim Muzaffarli Imanov gave information about the speaker, and then Ali Abbasov Professor of the Institute of Philosophy of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, made a report on the theme of "Economics and mentality".
Professor A.Abbasov spoke about national culture, influencing of mentality to the economy and their bounds, negative and positive roles of different cultures in the process of economic development of separately countries, and etc. Then the speaker answered to the questions addressed to him.
He made wide discussion around the themes of mentality as a phenomenon, it's philosophical views, historically formed the mentality of the Azerbaijani people, our national culture, tolerance, economic interaction of these factors, behavioral economics, the level of government intervention in the economy and in the matter of mentality, religion, influencing of mentality 
by different ideologies, economics and philosophy interdisciplinary point of contact as the study of a wide range of issues. In particular, the national features that prevent and impetus to economic development, the world experience in this area, the dependency of the national characteristics between economic development and etc. topical issues led to an interesting debate (economics.com.az)
