On April 26, 2016, has carried out the following Scientific Seminar at the Institute of Economy ANAS
Under the chairmanship of professor Irshad Kerimli, carried out the following scientific discussion of the theses by two candidates on the scientific degree Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. Scientific Counsellor of the Scientific Seminar Ph.D. in Economics Sevda Seyidova gave information about them.
Firstly, Leyli Ali Allahverdiyeva candidate for a degree at the Institute of Economics ANAS, gave information about her thesis on the theme of “Improving ways of the role of tourism in the guarantying sustainable economic development” (on the specialty of 5312.01-“Sectoral Economy”), (Scientific adviser – Doctor of Economics, professor Isa Aliyev). She based the urgency of dissertation work, investigation level of the problem, its purposes and duties, also noted the main scientific innovation of the thesis and spoke about the conclusion and recommendations with substantiating the theoretical and practical importance of dissertation work.
Reviewers – Doctor in Economics, professor Ramiz Isgenderov and Ph.D. in Economics, Arzu Huseyn noted the urgency of dissertation work, the investigation level of the problem and reasonably added comments and suggestions.
The pretendant L.Allahverdiyeva answered the questions addressed to her by the members of seminar, and expressed her opinion on the reviewers' objections. Speakers at the seminar – Ph.D. in Philosophy Mais Gulaliyev, Doctor in Economics, professor Gulenber Azizova, Ph.D. in Economics, Rufat Efendiyev, also Ph.D. in Economics, Jalil Guliyev stressed the importance of scientific research and noted their views, comments and suggestions. In the end, the thesis by L.Allahverdiyeva with an open vote taking into account the remarks and proposals were recommended for the next stage.
The second pretendant – Saber Akber Ahmed candidate for a degree at the Institute of Economics ANAS, gave information about his thesis on the theme of “The development problems of the sphere of non-oil industry in Iran Islamic Republic” (on the specialty of 5312.01-“Sectoral Economy”, and 5310.01 – “The world economy”), (Scientific adviser – Doctor of Economics, Fuad Gambarov, Ph,D, in Economics Agil Asadov). He based the urgency of dissertation work, investigation level of the problem, its purposes and duties, also noted the main scientific innovation of the thesis and spoke about the conclusion and recommendations with substantiating the theoretical and practical importance of dissertation work.
Then reviewers – Ph.D. in Economics, Nasimi Ahmadov, Ph.D. in Economics, Abdul-Samad Hasanov, Ph.D. in Economics, Shahraz Ibrahimov and Ph.D. in Economics, Gulnar Samadova noted the urgency of dissertation work, the investigation level of the problem and reasonably added comments and suggestions. In the end, the thesis by Saber Akber Ahmed with an open vote taking into account the remarks and proposals were recommended for the next stage.
