On December 16, 2015, at the Institute of Economy ANAS, held the following meeting at the Discussion Club “Creative Economy”. The 
director of the institute professor, Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov) gave information about the attendant and then Doctor of Economics, professor Shahin Sadigov head of the department of “Economy” at the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic, made a speech on the theme of “Final economic results of 2015, and the new duties”.
Professor Sh.Sadigov talked about the final economic results of 2015, yearly prognosis of 2016, forthcomings and talked about the real processes in the world economy. He also noted that the economic development of Azerbaijan characterizes with the highest indicators for recent years. He said that Azerbaijan for the recent 11 years (2003-2014 years), could achieve high economic progresses in the socio-economic spheres. The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund gave positive prognosis on the 2015-2016 years’ economy of our country. In the tables of the world’s leading rating agencies, the rate of economy of Azerbaijan is stable.
Then professor Shahin Sadigov, answered to the questions around the same theme. At the meeting was interesting discussions around the theme too. Especially, the policy in the spheres of non-oil sectors and in the sphere of finance planned for 2016, sale
of agricultural products and their exportation problems, the main transport spheres, inflation, unemployment and employment, utilization from the oil incomes, formation of environment of rivalry economy, the problems of reforms, life standards of population, less salary of employees of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and etc. problems created very interesting debates (economics.com.az).
