On October 2, 2015, in the following meeting of discussion club of “Creative Economy”, Ph.D. in economics, assistant professor, Yashar Mammadov made a speech on the theme of
“Peculiarities of stock market in Azerbaijan Republic and its development inclinations”. The speaker talked about the historical development stages of Azerbaijan stock market (security) and gave information about the present stock market, main duties of stock market, development level of stock market and the average level of profit on securities, the organizational problems of infrastructure of stock markets, defence position of rights of investors and stockholders, the world stock market and the place of Azerbaijan there. 
Y.Mammadov analysed the development inclinations of Azerbaijan stock market and listed the reasons, which detained its progresses, also gave to the attention perspective development directions of this market. The speaker considers that the perfection of legislation and normative-methodological basis, speeding up the development of the cooperative security markets’, the application of modern management and regulation mechanisms in the markets, straightening the belief markets, realization of stimulating measures for attraction natural and juridical persons to the investments, strengthening the 
defences of rights of market participants, the application of economic tools and mechanisms in the markets, and strengthening informational and statistical basis, increasing the utilization opportunities from the last ICT program guarantees in the realization of market operations, and etc. are the most important factors.
Further, there was an interesting discussion around the theme. Among the speakers were the director of the Institute of Economy of ANAS, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), professor, Shahbaz Muradov corresponding member of ANAS, Tanriverdi Pasha, Ph.D. in economics Agil Asadov, Ph.D. in philosophy Mais Gulaliyev etc. employees of the institute.
