The main activity directions of the department:
Preparation of highly qualified scientific personnel through Ph.D. and doctoral studies;
To register Ph.D. and doctoral students for receiving documents through the portal, preparation their personal work;
Organization of entrance exams for doctoral studies and minimum doctoral exams;
To ensure preparation of exam questions, programs, commission;
Conduct periodical reports and prepare references regarding to doctoral students and dissertation students;
Preparation the necessary documents for the attestation of doctoral students and dissertations and organization of attestation;
Coordination of the scientific activity of Ph.D. and doctoral students with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, to prepare and submit the necessary documents on time;
To ensure the connection of the Institute with various higher schools;
To increase the efficiency in the preparation of doctoral students and dissertations in the institute and to create conditions for high-level performance of scientific research works;
In accordance with legislation to perform other duties assigned by management.
