During the meeting, exchanged a number of important issues related to the organization of the international symposium. The discussions considered the organizational and coordination work of the symposium, the preparation of the program, the resolution of technical issues, as well as the possibilities of involving other universities and scientific research institutions in the event.
The members also held detailed discussions on determining the main thematic directions of the symposium, mechanisms for accepting and evaluating scientific reports, as well as the collection, publication, and indexing of conference materials in international scientific databases.
It was noted at the meeting that holding an international scientific symposium will make a significant contribution to further expanding scientific cooperation between Azerbaijani and Turkish scientists, promoting joint research on current economic problems, and promoting scientific results at the international level.
As a result of the discussions, made a decision to continue the work on organizing the event in a working manner. For this purpose, established a joint working group consisting of employees representing both organizations. It was stated that the working group will continue its activities in the coming months on the conference program, organizational mechanisms and cooperation with international partners.
It should be noted that the development of scientific relations between the Institute of Economics and EGE University and the organization of joint events are one of the important directions of the international cooperation strategy of both institutions. The planned international conference is expected to become an important platform for discussing current problems of economic science and forming new opportunities for scientific cooperation (economics.org.az).
