On November 16-17, 2023, in the Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan regions, which are part of the East Zangezur economic region, the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and published the materials of the international scientific-practical conference on "International Transport-Logistics Corridor: Development Impulses from Zangilan", jointly organized by the Ministry of Transport, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the MSE Institute of Economics.
The proceedings on “International Transport and Logistics Corridors: Development Impulses from Zangilan” provide a comprehensive examination of the role of international transport and logistics corridors in fostering regional economic development, enhancing transit capacity, and supporting the reconstruction and sustainable development of post-conflict territories. The papers and abstracts included in this volume explore a wide range of issues from both theoretical and practical perspectives, including the geoeconomic importance of the Middle Corridor and the Zangezur Corridor, the modernization of transport infrastructure, digital transformation in logistics, the enhancement of customs and logistics systems, investment opportunities, regional connectivity, economic integration, and sustainable development.
