Held an online meeting between the MSE Institute of Economics and the National Observatory

  On May 19, 2026, held an online business meeting between the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education and the National Observatory for Labor Market and Social Protection Issues under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. A group of leading officials and experts from both institutions participated in the event.  
  At the meeting, the scientific secretary of the Institute of Economics of MSE, Doctor of Economic Sciences Leyli Allahverdiyeva provided broad information about the main areas of activity of the scientific institution she represents, fundamental scientific research topics, scientific events, projects implemented by the order of state and government agencies, participation as an expert in relevant government working commissions, etc.  
  Elchin Suleymanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Observatory for Labor Market and Social Protection Issues, spoke about the main areas of activity of the National Observatory and noted the opportunities for joint cooperation. 
Other speakers - Head of Department of the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences, Professor Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, Head of the Department of Organization of Trainings and Work with Projects of the National Observatory Ali Mahmudov, Head of the Department of Research on the Labor Market and Social Protection Aysham Balayeva and others - spoke about the specific mechanisms of joint cooperation between the two institutions.
At the meeting discussed the memorandum of cooperation, which is planned to be signed in the near future between the Institute of Economics and the National Observatory (economics.org.az).
