An online meeting was held between the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Perspective International Studies of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of Uzbekistan. A group of heads of departments and chairs, also scientific researchers representing both Institutes, attended the event.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, the Head of Department of the International Relations the Institute of Economics of the State University of Economics, Anvar Ismayilli, provided information about the main areas of activity of the scientific institution he represents. The Head of Department of the World Economy of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Associate Professor Govhar Sultanova spoke about the University and Institute she represents. Other participants also voiced their opinions and suggestions regarding the establishment and development of mutually beneficial and effective cooperative relations between these scientific research institutes of fraternal countries.
At the meeting, held a wide exchange of views on issues such as expanding cooperation between the MSE Institute of Economics and the Institute for Perspective International Studies, in particular, conducting joint scientific researches, implementing projects, publishing scientific articles in the Institutes' scientific journals, participating in conferences, opportunities for mutual doctoral education, opponentship in the defense of Ph.D. dissertations and etc. (economics.org.az).
