A collective monograph on "Building a new economy in the post-conflict areas of Azerbaijan: scientific basis, challenges and applied solutions" has been published by the employees of the Scientific Center for the Restoration of Post-Conflict Territories of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education.
Authors of the book are Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Azer Safarov, Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Abulfat Karimov, Ph.D. in Economics, Sabina Asadova, and junior scientific researchers Anvar Ismayilli, Javanshir Burhanzade, Nigar Namig, and Elmir Mehdiyev.
The scientific editor of the book, is D.Sc. of Economics, Associate professor Famil Rustamov, and the reviewers are D.Sc. of Economics, Associate professor, Leyli Allahverdiyeva, and D.Sc. of Economics, Professor Adalat Aliyev and published by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics.
The head of Scientific Center for the Restoration of Post-Conflict Territories, Associate Professor Azer Safarov, and scientific staff - Dr. Sabina Asadova, Javanshir Burhanzadeh, and Nigar Namig are editorial boards.

The collective monograph was developed based on the results of researches conducted by the "Scientific Center for the Restoration of Post-Conflict Territories" of the Institute of Economics of the MSE during 2023-2025s. The main focus of the monograph is on explaining the restoration and construction strategy of President Ilham Aliyev in the liberated territories, and examined the directions of preparing the necessary program documents on a scientific basis and improving the appropriate economic management mechanisms for the successful implementation of this strategy.
The monograph proposes the formation of five regional clusters and the specialization of two development zones in the territory within the framework of the concept of the area-territorial scheme, which is presented as the structural basis of the restoration and reconstruction programs. At the same time, ways to improve the use of public investments, strengthen public-private partnership mechanisms, attract private and foreign innovative investments are studied and mechanisms for their effective use in these areas are substantiated. The main line of the monograph is the presentation of the construction of a new economy in post-conflict areas as the main link in ensuring technical and technological development in the country's economy (economics.org.az).
