On March 2, 2026, held a meeting of the "Labor Market" working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings of the Republic of Azerbaijan
The meeting, which took place online, discussed the results of the World Bank Group's "Business Ready" report on "Labor Force" indicator for 2025. The meeting was opened by the new head of the working group, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Rashad Mustafayev’s introductory speech. Then, the head of the Commission's Secretariat, sector head of the Department of Economic Policy and Industrial Affairs of the Presidential Administration, Vusal Shikhaliyev, made a speech.
Nijat Rahmanli, Secretary of the "Labor Market" Working Group, Deputy Head of the Strategic Planning and Innovation Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, made a presentation on the results of the World Bank Group's "Business Ready" report for 2025 regarding the "Labor Force" indicator.
The event was also attended by the head of the "Inclusive Social Development" department of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Rasmiyya Abdullayeva. After the presentation, held extensive discussions around the topic (economics.org.az).
