The book published based on the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics, scientific editor is Professor Shahbaz Muradov, corresponding member of ANAS, and the reviewers are Professors Terbiz Aliyev and Islam Ibrahimov.
The monograph is dedicated to the dear memory of Professor Isa Aiyev, a well-known scholar in the field of agrarian economics, prominent intellectual, Doctor of Economics, who was the director of the Institute of Economics in 2008-2014 and worked for many years as the head of the current department "Economic Problems of the Agrarian Sector" of the Institute.
The book is dedicated to the topic of sustainable and competitive development of agriculture in Azerbaijan. It mainly examines the role of agroparks and agro-processing enterprises, also the importance of applying innovative technologies. In the book analyzes the ways to increase productivity, production efficiency and competitiveness in the agricultural sector.
