The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics was held on November 25, 2025. The meeting, chaired by Director General, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, and was continued the listening of annual reports of the Institute's scientific departments.
At the Scientific Council, Professor Tofig Huseynov, head of department "Industrial Policy and Investment Problems", made presentations on "Directions for improving investment provision and regulating competitive development of the processing industry", Professor Rena Sultanova head of department "Problems of regional development and utilization of natural resources", made presentation on "Increasing the efficiency of using natural resources in the regions of Azerbaijan and improving the regulation of ecological balance", Doctor of Philosophy, Assoc. Prof. Allahyar Muradov head of the department "Innovative economy and digital transformation", made presentations on "Directions for improving the mechanism for regulating innovative development and transformation of the economy into a digital environment in Azerbaijan" and Doctor of Economics, Assoc. Prof. Yashar Mammadov head of department of "Monetary and problems of fiscal regulation ", presented the main scientific results of their research on "Strengthening the impact of the financial market and tax system on building a competitive economy".
At the Scientific Council extensively discussed the reports and research results of each department, made suggestions and recommendations, and answered questions (economics.org.az)
