On November 6, 2025, held an event dedicated to the November 8 - Victory Day at the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education
Opening the event with an introductory speech, Associate Professor Parviz Hasanov, a Chairman of the Trade Union Organization of the Institute of Economics, noted that Victory Day is one of the most glorious days in the history of Azerbaijan, the success of our people's 30-year struggle that resulted in a great victory. Proud days such as the liberation of all our occupied lands, the unification of our lands, and the raising of our flag in Karabakh today are the triumph of the Azerbaijani people, led by the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
The speakers - Bahruz Ismayilov, Aysel Ashirli, Nusret Ibrahimov, Aynur Nabizadeh, Dilman Asadov, Tanriverdi Pasha, Sevda Mikayilova, Matanat Abdalova and others - spoke about the liberation of our lands from occupation through the 44-day Patriotic War, under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and the strength of our Army, and the military, political, socio-economic and historical significance of the great victory we won. They considered the liberation of Karabakh from occupation and the full restoration of our territorial integrity and sovereignty as a great historical victory. They expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to this work, emphasized the heroism of our soldiers, and emphasized that Karabakh will soon become a paradise again. It was noted that we must know the value and worth of these days of victory. In particular, we must raise our children in the spirit of patriotism. Currently, great construction work is being carried out in Karabakh, the population is being resettled, and a new economy is being established.
