Held a  meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics

  On October 29, 2025, held the next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education. A number of issues were discussed at the meeting, chaired by the Director General, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli. 
  At the Scientific Council, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli provided extensive information on the results of the Institute of Economics' scientific activity for 2024, prepared by the Ministry of Science and Education, and presented key statistical figures. Along with these, he specifically noted the activities carried out by the Institute of Economics together with state agencies last year, the projects implemented on the base of state orders, and with the active participation of a group of Institute employees the assessment of the damage and losses caused to our country as a result of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan and the occupation of its territories.  
Speaking at the Scientific Council on "The role of Azerbaijanis living in rural regions of Armenia in the development of agriculture", Tanriverdi Pasha, head of the temporary creative group " Economy of Western Azerbaijan ", spoke about the role of our compatriots who once lived in this country, which is our historical land, in the economy of Armenia, and about their forced deportation from their ancestral homeland. Held the discussions around the topic. 
  Department heads of the Institute of Economics, professors Rasmiyya Abdullayeva and Fuad Ganbarov gave information about the II International Asian Renaissance Symposium held on October 23-24 at EGE University in Izmir, Turkey. They noted that the event was coordinated by the European Union Institute for Turkic World Studies, jointly organized by EGE University in Turkey, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Kazakhstan, and the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan (MSE). A group of employees of the Institute of Economics actively participated in the work of symposium. 
  Head of the Education Department, Ph.D. Ellada Khankishiyeva gave information about the commissions for improving exam questions and programs in specialties.
  Based on the presentation of the Scientific Secretary, Ph.D. Leyli Allahverdiyeva, by the decision of the Scientific Council, the monograph "Agroprocessing Policy: State Regulation and Development Strategy" by leading scientific worker, Ph.D. Yunus Sadigov and the textbook "Economics of the Agroprocessing Industry", as well as the monographs "Competitive Development Potential of Building Materials Production" by Associate Professor Shahin Sadigov and "Socio-economic Aspects of Labor Market and Personnel Training in Azerbaijan" by Ph.D. Intizar Gurbanova were recommended for publication (economics.org.az).
