  At the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education held an event dedicated to October 18 - Independence Day 
  Speaking at the event, Associate Professor Parviz Hasanov, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education, leading researchers Tanriverdi Pasha, Emin Mammadzadeh, and Matanat Abdalova, and others, evaluated the achievement of state independence as a historical event of great importance in the life of our people. 
  It was noted that during the years of independence, under the leadership of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan has gone through a great development path, carried out radical reforms in all areas, the country has emerged from the crisis and achieved continuous and sustainable progress, and took a worthy place in the world community. It was noted that this successful policy is being successfully continued today by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, our country's economy is developing, and our independence is further strengthened. 
  In their speeches, the scientists spoke about the historical significance of the "Constitutional Act on the State Independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan" adopted in 1991. In addition to reviewing the glorious path taken by our republic during the years of independence from a political and economic perspective, they noted the achievements in the political, economic and social spheres achieved so far (economics.org. az)
