Funda Rena Adacay, professor of the Department of Economics and Management at Anadolu University, Turkey, visited the MSE Institute of Economics on June 18, 2025. The professor met with Doctor of Economic Sciences, Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, Head of Department "Inclusive Social Inclusion" of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education.
At the meeting discussed various social problems, including poverty among women, and scientific research conducted in this area. R. Abdullayeva provided detailed information on the poverty level in Azerbaijan and carried out reforms in the recent years for reduction it. Funda Rena familiarized herself with the methodology for measuring the level of state intervention in the social security system developed by the Adachay Institute of Economics and proposed conducting joint research in the social field in the future.
