On May 22, 2025, held the next meeting of Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education. A number of issues were discussed at the meeting, chaired by Director General, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli.
At the Scientific Council Professor Nazim Muzaffarli made a report on "Methodology for assessing damage caused by military aggression and occupation (on the sample of Azerbaijan)", held extensive discussions, and answered numerous questions by the participants on the topic.
Representatives of the country's leading universities and a number of government agencies also attended the event.
At the meeting, by the decision of the Scientific Council, the book "Investment attractiveness of Azerbaijan: realities and prospects" by Professor Tofig Huseynov, the monograph "International population migration in the Republic of Azerbaijan: main trends and problems" by Doctor of Economic Sciences Akifa Agayarova, and the bulletin "Development of the stock market in Azerbaijan" prepared by Doctor of Economic Sciences Yashar Mammadov were recommended for publication.
Prof. N. Muzaffarli congratulated Aygun Tahmazli, an employee of the Institute of Economics, on receiving the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (economics.org.az).
