On April 7, 2025, held a scientific seminar at the Institute of Economics of the Department of Science and Education
At the seminar chaired by Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, Ph.D. in Economics, Akifa Agayarova, Senior Researcher of the department of Demography and Employment Problems at the Institute of Economics of the Department of Science and Education, made a report on “Socio-economic impact of remittances”.
At the study investigated the relationship between remittances (inflows) and GDP, non-oil GDP, household income, actual final consumption expenditure and poverty level to assess the impact of migrant remittances on socio-economic conditions.
At the end, held interesting discussions on the topic and answered the questions (economics.org.az).
