Published a bulletin on “Modern development of the market of digital payment services in Azerbaijan”. The bulletin, authored by Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Yashar Mammadov, Head of Department of the Institute of Economics MSE, and Ph.D. in Economics, Shadiyya Amanova is a general analytical review of the changes, achievements, and current development opportunities in the market of digital payment services in recent years.
In order to comparatively analyze the level of development and competitiveness of the market of digital payment services in our country, the study used data from the Central Bank and the State Statistical Committee, as well as statistical databases of international organizations. The source of all statistical data, including graphs, not referenced in the bulletin is the relevant international organizations, the Central Bank and the State Statistical Committee. Analysis and assessment of the development trends of market of digital payment services in Azerbaijan and globally allowed us to make certain assumptions in this area.
The bulletin, recommended for publication by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Economics, is intended for scientists, specialists, business representatives and other readers who conduct research and are interested in economics and financial markets (economics.org.az).
