It was noted that 613 people, including 106 women, 63 children and 70 elderly people, were brutally killed, 8 families were completely destroyed, 25 children lost both parents, and 130 children lost one of their parents. That night, 1,275 civilians were taken prisoner, the fate of 150 among them is unknown. In short, the Khojaly tragedy should be considered one of the most terrible genocides in humanity.

The victims of Khojaly, all our martyrs have been avenged, our occupied lands have been liberated, and our territorial integrity and sovereignty have been restored. Currently, courts are being held in the Baku Court Complex on the criminal case of 15 persons of Armenian origin accused of committing war crimes against our people. All criminals will receive their deserved punishment.
Now Azerbaijan must further strengthen its independence, increase its economic power, and strengthen its army. Currently, large-scale restoration and reconstruction work is underway in Karabakh, settlement is gaining greater momentum, and we will live forever in our ancestral lands, including in Khojaly (economics.com.az).
