At the Institute of Economics held an event dedicated to the Victory Day

  On November 7, 2024, held an event dedicated to the November 8 - Victory Day at the Institute of Economics of the Ministry of Science and Education
  Congratulating the employees on the occasion of the Victory Day, the Director General of the Institute, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), spoke about the historical significance of the great Victory we won, under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the liberation of our lands from occupation by the strength of our Army and the 44-day Patriotic War. He said that Victory Day is one of the most glorious days in the history of Azerbaijan. It is the success of our nation of 30-year struggle that resulted in a great victory. The liberation of all our lands under occupation, the unification of our lands, and today's proud days like the waving of our flag in Shusha and Khankendi are the victory of Azerbaijani people, led by Supreme Commander-in-Chief. 
  Speakers - Tarbiz Aliyev, Tanriverdi Pasha, Gulnar Samadova, Matanat Abdalova, Sevda Mikayilova, young researchers and others valued the liberation of Karabakh from occupation, the complete restoration of our territorial integrity and sovereignty as a great historical victory. They expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to this work, emphasized the heroism of our soldiers and that soon Karabakh will become a paradise again. 
  It was noted that we should know the value of these days of victory. In particular, we should grow our children in the spirit of patriotism. Currently, large construction works are being carried out in Karabakh, the population is being settled, and a new economy is being built. Economists of the country should continue to contribute in this process. The Institute of Economics is very actively involved in providing scientific support to the process of reconstruction of territories freed from occupation, are organized scientific events, are conducted investigations, are implemented various projects, are fulfilled state orders and etc.  
  At the event, was commemorated the dear memory of our heroic soldiers and martyrs, who gave us happiness like Victory Day and freed our lands from occupation. 
  It should be noted that on the occasion of Victory Day, November 8, all the employees of the Institute of Economics were given a monetary award and a holiday gift (economics.org.az).
