On November 17, 2021, held a meeting on the defense of the dissertation of the Doctor of Philosophy at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS
At the meeting chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Council, Professor Mushfig Atakishiyev, after giving information about Efendiyev Sadig Gahraman presented his dissertation on "The role of Azerbaijan's processing industry in economic development and mechanisms for its improvement" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics (5312.01 - "Sectoral Economics") and held discussion (supervisor prof. Gazanfar Suleymanov). The dissertation work was done at the Department of Management of Azerbaijan University of Technology.
Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidova, after giving information about S.Afandiyev made a presentation on the main content of the dissertation. Heard official opponents – Doctor of Economics, prof. Ilham Aslanzade, Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., Nariman Boyukkishi and Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., Ramil Aliyev's opinion. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to him. The members of the council expressed their views on the dissertation and held discussions. In the end, S. Efendiyev's dissertation by secret ballot was approved by the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
