On October 27, 2021, held a meeting on the defense of the dissertation of the scientific degree on Doctor of Philosophy at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS
At the meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Council, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, discussed Jala Rahman Aliyeva's dissertation for the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics (5308.01 - "General Economics") on "Living standards of the rural population in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the main directions of its quality improvement" (scientific supervisor prof. Shahbaz Muradov). The dissertation work was carried out at the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidova after giving information about J.Aliyeva made an extensive presentation on the main content of the dissertation. Heard official opponents’ – D.Sc., prof. Elshad Mammadov, Ph.D. in economics, assoc.prof. Arzu Huseyn and Ph.D. in Economics, assoc.prof., Kamran Abdullayev's opinion. The plaintiff answered the questions that addressed to her. Members of the Council expressed their views on the dissertation and held an interesting discussions. In the end, by secret ballot J.Aliyeva's dissertation was approved by the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
