On October 20, 2021, held a meeting on the defense of the dissertation of the Doctor of Philosophy at the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS
At the meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Council, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli, discussed the dissertation of Ellada Mahammadgizi Khankishiyeva for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics (5312.01 - "Sectoral Economics") on "Economic prospects of gold mining industry development in the regions of Azerbaijan" (supervisor prof. Rena Sultanova). The dissertation work was carried out in the department of "Problems of regional development and use of natural resources" of the Institute of Economics of ANAS.
Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidova after giving information about E.Khankishiyeva made an extensive presentation on the main content of the dissertation. Heard the opinion of official opponents – D.Sc., prof. Gulshan Yuzbashiyeva, D.Sc., prof. Ilham Aslanzade and Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor, Lala Hamidova. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to him. The members of the council expressed their views on the dissertation and held discussions. In the end, by secret ballot E.Khankishiyeva's dissertation was approved by the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
