On May 7, 2021, the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Economics of ANAS held a meeting for defensing the dissertation of the Doctor of Philosophy
At the meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Council, Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), Huseynov Akbar Sattar presented his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics in 5307.01 - "Economic Theory" and 5310.01 - "World Economy". Discussion of the dissertation on "Comparative-econometric analysis of macroeconomic effects of fiscal policy in Azerbaijan" (supervisor prof. Akif Musayev). The dissertation work was carried out at the Institute of Economics of ANAS. Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sevda Seyidov, after giving information about A.Huseynov made an extensive presentation on the main content of the dissertation. Also heard official opponents – Doctor of Economics, prof. Rovshan Guliyev, Doctor of Economics, prof. Hajiaga Rustambeyov and Ph.D.in Economics, assoc.prof., Tariyel Gurbanov's opinion. The plaintiff answered the questions addressed to him. Members of the Council expressed their views on the dissertation and held discussions. In the end, by secret ballot A. Huseynov's dissertation was approved by the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
