Thesis on "Improvement of administrative-district division of the Republic of Azerbaijan and increasing of economic efficiency" was carried out at the Institute of Economics
On March 30, 2018, held the meeting of the Dissertation Council of Institute of Economics, ANAS. The meeting held under the chairmanship of the Professor Nazim Muzaffarli (Imanov), thesis on "Improvement of administrative-district division of the Republic of Azerbaijan and increasing of economic efficiency" was presented by Ilgar Magsud Velizadeh for receiving Ph.D. scientific degree in economics (scientific supervisor Doctor of Economics, professor Ali Nuriyev). Dissertation work was carried out at the Institute of Economics, ANAS. 
Scientific Secretary of the Dissertation Council, Ph.D. in Economics, Sabina Shikhaliyeva gave information about the pretendant, and then Ilgar Velizadeh made a presentation on the urgency of the dissertation work, the level of studying the problem, the goals and objectives of the research, the main scientific innovations, the content of the research, results and suggestions. Then the he answered the questions of the members of the Dissertation Council, which addressed to him. Defined official opponents on work – Doctor of Economics, Professor Elshad Mammadov and Associate Professor, Ph.D. in Economics, Arzu Huseyn not only pointed out the relevance of the issue, but also made remarks and proposals. The leading organization of the work is the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At the meeting the opinions were given on abstracts. The pretendant I.Valizadeh responded to the replies of the opponents, the leading organization and the reviewers of author's abstracts. Speaking on the case, the members of the Council also stated that the issue was topical, noting that the issue was up to the requirements of the High Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At the end I.Valizade's dissertation was confirmed by secret ballot of the members of the Dissertation Council (economics.com.az).
