The main direction of activity of the department:
- Cooperation with the international scientific and educational centers;
- Cooperation with foreign embassies and representative offices in Azerbaijan;
- Cooperation with influential international associations;
- organization of scientific research activity of employees of the institute in foreign scientific-educational centers;
- Supports foreign researchers to carry out scientific investigations with the Institute of Economics;
- Promotes bilateral cooperation with foreign universities and research institutions;
- Identifies potential donors, establishes business relationships and collaborates with them, and so on.
